Portuguese emigrant communities abroad are an excellent opportunity to promote the companies’ internationalization. These communities maintain strong bonds to Portugal, in particular to Portuguese products, and are therefore a potential to be explored by national companies.
The Rede Lusa Project is an initiative of ACISB and aims to foster the companies’ internationalization in the Bragança region, increasing their exports through the emigrant communities living in France, the United Kingdom and the USA (Rede Lusa). The project NORTE-02-0752-FEDER-000044 is part of the Support System for Collective Actions – Internationalization, being co-financed by North 2020, Portugal 2020 and the European Union, through the FEDER.
